Calendar Settings

Every user has the ability to personalize the calendar based on their preferences. Settings play a crucial role in the functionality of the calendar, and it’s advised to configure them before initial use.

Various factors such as different countries and user requirements necessitate adjustments, particularly for settings like Time Zone, Date Format, Calendar Hourly format, and similar options.

There are two ways to access Calendar Settings:

  • via Main Menu – CRM Settings – My Preferences – Calendar Settings
  • from the Calendar view, select List, More – Calendar Settings

Different Settings Available

The table below provides a summary of the various settings available for customizing your calendar.

Field Name Description

Starting Day of the Week

The first day of your week (Monday - Sunday).

Date Format

The date formats available:

  • dd-mm-yyyy
  • mm-dd-yyyy
  • yyyy-mm-dd

Default Call Duration (Mins)

The default duration to be set for events Call. The End Date & Time field is set depending on what you select here.

  • 5
  • 10
  • 30
  • 60
  • 120

Default Event Status

The default value to be set in an event’s Status field can be:

  • Planned
  • Completed
  • Cancelled

Popup Reminder Interval

Time for which the reminder popup will be shown, can be set to:

  • 1 min
  • 5 min
  • 15 min
  • 30 min
  • 45 min
  • 1 hour
  • 1 day

Default Calendar View

The default view of your calendar:

  • List View
  • My Calendar

Slot duration

The number of slots for the current hour can be:

  • 4 slots for 5 min
  • 2 slots for 30 min

Day starts at

The start time of your working hours:

(12:00 AM - 11:00 PM or 00:00 - 23:00).

Calendar Hour Format

Your preferred calendar format:

  • 12 hour
  • 24 hour

Default My Calendar View

The default mode to be displayed in the Calendar View:

  • Today
  • This Week
  • This Month
  • Agenda
  • List view

Other Event Duration (Mins)

The default duration to be set for events of other types such as Meeting, Mobile Call, etc. The End Date & Time field will be determined based on your selection here.

  • 5
  • 10
  • 30
  • 60
  • 120

Default Activity Type

The default setting for an event's Activity Type field.

  • Call
  • Meeting
  • Email
  • Reminder

Hide Completed Calendar Events

If this field is enabled, events marked as Completed will not appear in the Calendar View.

Week days

Only the selected days of the week will be displayed in the Calendar View.
